We enjoyed seeing many familiar faces at our sell-out February Lawn Bowls event. Hosted at Melbourne City Bowls club, we had a relaxed evening of shared food, good company and healthy competition. This was a great way to welcome some new Alumni into our network.
At the Lawn Bowls, we officially launched Youthrive bucket hats and caps. Following our merch design competition on Facebook, our Merch Sub-committee, led by Zac Nijenhuis, worked with the winner – 2024 Alumni, Erika Bicket – to get her design printed. Hats will be available for purchase at upcoming Youthrive Events.
We’ve also just launched our own cooking club, MKR: Youthrive Alumni Edition, where we are connecting alumni together from different parts of Victoria to share a meal together. If you are a Youthrive Alumni member and would like to get involved in a local cooking club, please check out our posts in the Alumni Facebook group or send an email to alumnisecretary@youthrivevic.org.au.
There are many more exciting events to come this year and tickets sales are opening in the next few weeks:
- Ticket Drop for Footy Event: Sunday 28th April 7pm
- Ticket Drop Youthrive Ball: Sunday 12th May 7pm (including dinner, line dancing and Creswick Campground)
