Young Rural Leaders Respond To Change 

The Young Rural Leaders team is planning the second program of the year, with a focus on self-sustainability, rural communities, the environment, and the impact that young rural leaders can have on our future.

Youthrive Victoria has successfully delivered our last two Young Rural Leaders programs in a COVID-safe way through a combination of online and in-person learning activities. This has equipped us with the ability to deliver the program online again in the future where needed, allowing us the opportunity to involve young people who might otherwise be unable to attend. We have enjoyed the intergenerational learning sessions where older visitors can share their stories with us.

We are planning that this great program will once again be delivered from July 4-10 this year. The residential program is held at Narmbool, a farm outside Ballarat. At present places in the program are fully funded by grants and donors, and the only cost to applicants is transport to Ballarat.
