Bendigo sisters, Amelia and Julia Hunt, awarded Youthrive Victoria scholarships
Bendigo Senior Secondary College students, Amelia and Julia Hunt, have both been selected as 2020 Youthrive Victoria Scholars.
These talented twin sisters each presented highly impressive applications, displaying outstanding capacities for leadership and commitment to Victorian regional communities, and as a result have been selected as recipients of two separate scholarships.
Youthrive Victoria has awarded Amelia a $30,000 University Scholarship which will support her aspiration to study Law and Global Studies at Australian Catholic University. Julia has been awarded a $5000 Rural Chances vocational scholarship and will pursue her passion for working with children and families through a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Along with financial support, Youthrive Victoria scholars are also provided with mentoring and leadership development, and the opportunity to connect with their peers through the Youthrive Victoria Alumni. Youthrive Victoria is thrilled to support Julia and Amelia, two outstanding young regional women, as they pursue their vocational and university studies, and their professional and personal development journeys.
